The Whitehouse Bachelor of Design prepares graduates for employment, while teaching our students about business, the bottom line and industry relevance. With very close connections to industry and cultural resources, Whitehouse's approach is always forward-thinking and ambitious. Students undertake a trimester model of study, achieving a Bachelor of Design in just 2 years, allowing students to launch their career in the design industry 1 year earlier than most university graduates. Students can further their qualification by undertaking a Master of Design in 12 months. Master of Design students are innovative thinkers, who have the capability to introduce courageous and experimental designs to today’s global industry, with the support of Whitehouse professionals.
Led by a faculty of pre-dominantly industry professionals, Students develop a conceptual and practical foundation to their practice as well as a relevant industry perspective and a pre-established network. Whitehouse teachers bring experience from working with companies such as Givenchy, Kenzo, Carven, Vivienne Westwood, ELLE UK, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Jonathan Saunders and Comme des Garcons.
Whitehouse is part of a worldwide creative community. We open our doors and share our work with thinkers and doers around the world, to challenge current thinking in the design industries and expand practice. I'm a graduate student of Whitehouse. Over the 2 years I studied here, I definitely got a lot of hands-on experience as well as professional knowledge. We have a lot of great teachers here who are always there for us students when we need them. The thing I love the most about our school is that we're free to express our ideas, which is the most important thing about fashion design. Our teachers are open to every single idea and they'd love to help us to achieve what we want.
Wherever I go in the future, I'll always take the time I spent at Whitehouse with me.

Attending the Whitehouse Institute to study Creative Direction and Styling was a game changer. With little belief in my creative abilities, it was the encouragement and invaluable lessons taught to me by my teachers that gave me the confidence to trust in my ideas and pursue a creative path that would eventually lead to a career. I am now a blogger based in Paris where I collaborate with brands all over the world to create content. My time at the Whitehouse Institute was the first step in leading me to where I am today!

A fabulous school that brings out the most fabulous side of you! Creativity is really embraced by all, making Whitehouse the perfect platform to truly express oneself, be bold and clever in all that is undertaken. Skills and qualities required in the industry are instilled in all students, thus opening many doors to opportunities and relationships. Personally, I've never learnt as much as I have in my entire life as I have here at Whitehouse. Beautiful design school, fabulous staff and great location. I always attend events and workshops at Whitehouse and find their staff on all occasions welcoming and supportive to not only students, but those visiting. Events are always perfectly styled and designed, and they never fail to impress and present themselves to the highest standard, as you would expect from a first class establishment.

I graduated from The Whitehouse in 1993. When I look back at my time there, not only was it hard work and lots of fun, but I can see what an amazing grounding experience it was for my career in fashion. Our Teachers where all working Trade and came with a wealth of experience. They installed in us a sense of realism and practicality into what to expect in 'the real world' , but it was still extremely creative and educational. The support from the teachers and Leanne herself was just wonderful. I'm very grateful for my time at such an established institution.

I'm a past student of the school whom graduated last year. I couldn't of asked for a better environment to study my Bachelors Degree. The teachers were highly supportive and attentive, allowing me to learn all the skills I needed to go straight into the industry. Your not just another number at Whitehouse, you are apart of a beautiful family that doesn't stop nourishing and supporting you. Would highly recommend studying at this University, without a second guess.
