The 1980's witnessed an exceptional growth in the Information Technology (IT) Industry. In line with this development, a strong demand for IT professionals resulted in the proliferation of computer schools throughout the country. With the sprouting of these schools, concerns over the quality of education came into focus when it was clearly observed that some graduates could not meet the high standards set by business and industry.

IBM Philippines, the leading IT supplier in the country together with SM (Shoemart) Foundation, the number one retail giant in the Philippines, explored the possibility of putting up a computer training institution that would produce high caliber graduates. The result of these exploratory talks is the inception in 1991 of Asia Pacific College (APC), the educational collaboration of these two prominent and highly successful privately-owned corporations.

Together with top IBM executives notably Mr. Ramon Dimacali, former Chairman and General Manager of IBM Philippines, Inc., well-known Filipino educators are APC's founding members: Dr. Paulino Y. Tan, former Executive Vice President of De La Salle University (DLSU) and Computer Consultant for SM; Prof. Leonida Africa, Vice President of the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities and former Vice President for Academic Programs at DLSU, and; Bro. Andrew Gonzales, former Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, former President of DLSU and former President of the Manila Bulletin.

As for me, my entire life as a BS CSIT-SSE student was great and I really enjoyed it. I was so lucky having good professors like Ms Rhea and Sir Anonas. Kuddos to Mr Anonas, I was able to learn Java EE in just one term compared to the entire 3 years done by my other professors. My internship was cool. I landed in a nice company with a nice job. ;) It's because of the school's partners. I just did my CV and wrote down my prospect companies and poof, the school will do the rest. You'll just have to attens to scheduled interviews. :) I love my org, Explorers' Club. We did lots of things - school events and Outreach. All classrooms are airconditioned. Upto 30 students only each classroom. Claygo in Caf. Just visit the school. ;) Guess, I was just so lucky. I met nice friends throughout my entire stay. It's a small school so you'll get to know everyone.

Got my second bachelor's degree and my master's degree from Asia Pacific College. I loved this community so much, I even teach part-time in it.

The institution lacks of connecting students together. I studied here for one school year and only knew very few people outside my block section besides those whom I already met before studying there. They give too much focus in following class schedules resulting to the lack of providing a 'community-feel' environment but more of a corporate one. I, personally, wasnt able to experience any of the social events they were trying to promote poorly due to their quite uptight regulations. If you're looking for a formal type of experience in your education this place is perfect for you. if you're looking for a community-oriented place that doesnt rely to much on digital ways of communicating and is not bland in facilitation of school events, this isnt the place to be.

This school is very convenient for everyone! Well equipped facilities and fast accommodation. I lost my stuff, and I retrieved it in just 2 days. The school disseminates the information swiftly. VERY TRUSTED! I recommend APC for those individuals who wishes to have a stress free atmosphere and worthy school year! THANK you again. More power! And God bless!

People are very hospitable, the professors are very friendly, competent, and easy to communicate with. Some will really guide you all through out until you finish the subject. The facilities are nice and very convenient.

Mostly great teachers. Facilities could use some work tho. Alot of the computers they had were shit, and the internet is next to useless. Harambe would've liked this college.

Great start for your kids. This institution equipt your children with the right mindset facing real world challenges. Best investment for your children's future.

Definitely an institution living up to it's reputation of being one of the Centers of Excellence in IT Education. Aside from issues involving internet connection bandwidth, its facilities are optimal and most of its faculty members are outstanding.

I learned a lot during my stay. A very professional school where being in the industry is part of the whole curriculum. but They have only implemented the Game Development course exactly after I graduated. Top-notch college, nevertheless!

My entire stay was great. Met good professors especially Ms Rhea and Sir Noel Anonas. Landed in a nice company for internship - SMPH-IT. My org was the best - Explorers' Club. Overall, great experience. Well, I might be lucky and blessed during my time. ;)
