I studied the AAT at Bridgwater and Taunton College and I found the College to be very friendly and supportive throughout my studies. I think the staff are very knowledgable and will go above and beyond to help. I would throughly recommend this College to anyone who wants to further their education.

Good course, delivered well by knowledgeable instructors and with good equipment. Facilities are good. First person to play on the new JCB 540-140!

It was excellent in terms of its staff and course content. I completed two courses at this college, a Level 2 Public and Emergency Services BTEC and a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Applied Science.
A lot of the learning was practical and hands on. The information we gained is now really helping me at University and I cannot thank the teaching staff at Bridgwater College enough for the effort they put in to make sure we got the qualifications we needed. We needed help at 9pm, we could send an email and get a reply by morning.
However, the College is not an all round great experience. First, the social spaces. There are very few areas of the College set aside for people that prefer quiet break times. The hub is a large open space that often gets very noisy, and may be closed off during open or taster days to most college students. The eating spaces were also far too small, yet the college did not allow students to eat anywhere else.
I feel I must point out the computer systems. When completing course work or essays, it is best to type it up on a computer. Research is done online via computer. Yet, the college had a very slow, and extremely unreliable, internet and computer system. Emails even took a long time to load up on occassion, and due to the small number of computers available, bringing a laptop from home was a must. The general experience here was terrible.

Have just completed a counselling course with this college, and the staff have been excellent, especially my tutor, who provided very useful feedback. Thank you

its such shame that what was, in my opinion, a fantastic college now has individual persons that use their position to justify their actions. For an individual to be exposed to being demoralised, lied to and humiliated by a member of the teaching staff is a disgrace, and yet it happens, and it will continue until the college fully grasp the damage it can cause to someone and its lasting impact upon their lives.
Lets hope the it will change for the better and it goes back to being a great place to be educated at the highest standard.

Colmpleting a level 2 course with the college, they are brilliant. The support and communication is there and I highly recommend this college to anyone wishing to complete a distance learning qualification. There is funding available for this too.

Good engineering course with good teachers from a background of engineering. Organisation skills needs to be sorted as a returning student as a first year apprentice my timetable I had to make with three separate ones I had to stick together that my friends provided, they didn't expect us to come and things have been a little confusing from the start but all together it's pretty good to be honest. Lots of work but learning a lot as well

As an access course student I find Bridgwater College a great place to learn. Being a mature student I was worried that I would feel out of place but the staff and students alike are very friendly. The tutors are extremely supportive and the level of academia is second to none. I thoroughly recommend studying here.
