Welcome to Leicester College! We offer a comprehensive range of technical, vocational and higher education qualifications across a broad range of subject areas, including ESOL, from entry to university level to around 20,000 students.
At Leicester College, we’re proud to be a thriving, modern and diverse place to study.
Learners of all ages and backgrounds are represented here: our youngest learners come here one a day a week from school to study vocational qualifications alongside their GCSEs, while our oldest student recently celebrated her 100th birthday. From entry-level courses to degree-level study, we serve all sections of our community: whether you want to take an evening course to get a taste of something new, get an Access diploma to go to university, or study full time on one of our vocational courses, we can help you realise your ambitions.
We were recently awarded Gold for our university teaching in the government’s new Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) – the highest possible award. This was due in part to our success in making our students feel supported and happy during their time with us: the National Student Survey in 2016 placed us joint fifth nationally for student satisfaction. So whether you’re a school leaver, a mature learner, or an apprentice, there is a place for you here. We are proud of everyone who is part of Leicester College.
We are an Associate College of De Montfort University and work with the University to provide pathways to degree level in many subject areas following study at Leicester College. Significantly, students successfully completing our International Foundation Programmes (IFPs) will be entitled to automatic progression to a relevant De Montfort University undergraduate (Bachelor’s degree) programme. Of course our IFPs can also lead to enrolment in higher education courses at any UK university.
Our excellent facilities and expert teaching provide our students with the knowledge, skills and experience to be a leader in their chosen field, opening doors to employment and further education. With smaller class sizes than most universities, studying with us means you receive more personalised attention and support from our teaching staff.

Don't recommend this college at all . Hardly support you and if your meant to have support its not organised correctly. Slow learning and your "meant to be treated like adults" not all the time ...

Had a great year there. Teachers were lovely. Met some great people just found the library too noisy to work in some days. Other than that I enjoyed my experience there..
