Our students are spread across our 500 academic and vocational courses, offering them the widest choice in the city at the highest standard of learning.

The size and breadth of the college puts us at the heart of the City. Our daily work brings us in contact with partners and stakeholders of all kinds; from large corporations and household names and frequently we work with Liverpool City Council. We work closely with local training providers and employers in the private, public and voluntary sectors to deliver the widest range of further education courses, delivered with practical experience.

Our close working relationships with businesses ensures that we keep up to date with what employers need, but crucially ensures our students are equipped with the skills to find employment and succeed.

We are heavily involved in a wide range of innovative programmes. As a Gazelle college, we promote an enterprising culture for students to develop confidence and entrepreneurial skills to help create jobs for the future.

The education here is truly transformative, with dedicated staff who inspire students to reach new heights – I’ve seen my child blossom in ways I never imagined.

Wouldn’t even give 1 star if possible. Absolutely awful experience, staff are unconcerned if you pass or fail, lack of communication in relation to your current grades as well as everything in between. Experienced my work being marked 3-4 months LATE, lack of empathy shown towards particular students only concerned with themselves. I even experienced being taught modules from staff who weren’t even qualified to teach the specific modules as well as no prior knowledge of the subject themselves UNACCEPTABLE, funnily enough this was the only lecturer who genuinely cared about your grades as well as you as an individual. Was promised so much from the beginning however slowly started to realise what a huge mistake I made studying at this ‘college’. You’re likely to be blamed for the majority of the staffs wrongdoings despite knowing full well you’re correct. Please please please spend your valuable time/money elsewhere they’re much better places to get an Higher Education within the area.

Being honest with it all, it was a god awful experience. 1st year was decent but the second year gave me second thoughts. They (the tutors) were clumsy, promised a lot but gave very little and mostly sat there chasing money as the students drowned in stress and anger. They do not care and try and cover everything up with buzzwords but at the core, the educational supports in that place are rotting. Know that when you are there, walk cautiously.

This college is a joke my daughter was there for a week before she left and changed colleges because it was so bad she couldn't bare to go back each day. Asked to change courses however 1 week in all other courses were "full" no help to her whatsoever. Disgusted really badly organised.

I could only grit my teeth and bare with the college for 6 months and that's long! One tutor called Tanya was an average tutor she actually turned up! For the rest of tutors they should feel ashamed! This is an unorganised college and I'm angry that I wasted my time and unrecongnised effort there! Such a shame! Get a new head until then close it down! I feel sorry for anybody that steps foot in that college! All that the Tutors talk about is equality and diversity we've heard it before blah blah! The council should really think about shutting it down!

studying here for my second hnd year, I have two teachers, but only one is in charge of everything, he is good, but is just one person in charge of two class, he has no time to stay with us, college fault they do not want to hire more teachers, he is an artist one, is not a programming one(and we are doing programming too) he is pushing himself to learn but college should hire other teacher just for programming, again college fault they don't want to spend money on teachers to teach us, they are interesting just in your money, don't go to this college to study as less you only want lost money and learn everything by yourself

I've been a student at the college for 9 months now and since the beginning of the year the staff have been inconsistent in psychology A level. I've had 5 teachers this year and have only been taught for the first exam, my second exam is on Monday and we haven't been taught the majority of the content. The teacher we currently have has no degree in psychology or A level? However, psychology isn't the only subject that has faced inconsistency with teaching, subjects such as: law, English and theology have faced the same issues. The college is an absolute shambles and it confuses me as to why they advertise they teach A level courses when there's nobody provided to teach some of the subjects? Don't come here you'll regret it, go to a sixth form where you'll be catered for sufficiently.

This college has gone down hill since 2012! I have hated every moment being at that college, I would not recommend this college. The only subject at Liverpool community college that can actually give you a real education is the science section.

For a wide range of day or night courses, over a wide range of subjects, and taught at a wide range of times, look no further than Liverpool Community College! This place has done a few mates of mine some huge favours. Mates that dicked around too much in school and then suddenly got to 19 and 20 and realised that they were a bit knackered if they didn't get some qualifications behind them. This is the place that gives you a second chance! They cover a wide range of qualifications, from GCSE through to NVG and AS and A level. I'm sure they have affiliations with adult language courses too! If you want a change and want to give your education another chance, I can honestly say that I've seen Liverpool Community College change lives around!
