Waste of time, waste of money, I paid 9 grand for this and they still expect me to pay extra to use some of there equipment plus an extra £50 to resubmit some work, there’s a lot of cancelled and rearranged lectures where I have had to travel a whole hour and a half for nothing quite a few times and some tutors don’t seem to be interested and only seem to be there for the pay check. Not a great experience, atliest it will prepare me for the future if I ever decide to carry on with university is the only thing I have gained from this experience.

Great open day. Helpful student ambassadors, approachable lecturers and course leaders and fantastic student services. Such a useful day to really get a feel for it. Thank you for your hospitality MMU!

It was not the Metropolitan university - just Manchester university in those long-ago days. There was also the Tech, which was down town, and taught technical stuff, obviously. I am afraid the teaching was not very good - there were crowds of students but hardly any personal contact between staff and students, and I don't think many of the profs and tutors knew me, or at least did not give the impression that they were interested in my progress. Alas! But we all learned from each other - I made several very good and lifelong friends.

Manchester Metropolitan Uni is a beautiful university campus with some cool and awesome accommodation, with large and useful lecture theatres. Great food and good choices of accommodation, food, and courses.

Great university with a diverse range of subjects from business, to tech, to performing arts. They also run a one of a kind Digital Apprentice scheme where your degree will be fully sponsored by your chosen business. One day a week study while working 4, an amazing opportunity for anyone put off by loans. The campus itself is very clean and modern, with lots of canteens and rest areas, the library is well stocked and sociable for those who want to study with others. There are hundreds maybe thousands of computers available and a handy campus computer availability application running on various displays dotted about. The lecture halls are mostly equipped with high tech audio equipment and projectors. Very spacious and modern in a standard class. The lecturers have all been helpful and friendly in my experience and haven't heard any students appose my description.

This University really does make you feel at home! The staff are so friendly, approachable and will make the time to support you in your own life or with your degree. It's amazing how many support services we have and it really is an incredible place to study in an amazing city! Very organised, and it has made my life better because of all the opportunities it gives! I'd recommend this University to anyone, especially if you are studying English, our English department really is a dream!

if there was a zero rating, I would give it to this racist university. Because you are a Muslim and came from Middle east, they do not look at you as a student, they look at you as you are tank of oil and you are dangerous. I had a teacher which I don't recall her name now, she was so rude with me and my Arab friends. we did more than she expected and we were given low marks while the other guys who did less than half what she asked for, were given very high mark. she is unfair and racist. never go to such universities.

I would not recommend anyone to take the BA (Hons) Marketing Management course. Absolutely poor quality in teaching. I have funished my final year at university, my 3rd year has been the worst. I pay nine thousand pound a year to gain an marketing degree, when i could of sat at home and learnt everything off Google as its the exact same meterial used to teach. Throughout my final year, one of our tutors had to be revoved due to his poor quality in teaching as many students complained ( this tutor was a so called Dr) ?This is just some of the reasons why i wouldn't recommend this course.

I have just finished the first year of my criminology and sociology degree and I am literally gutted that it's gone by so quickly. I have loved every minute so far and I'm desperately waiting for 2nd year to start. I have tried to think critically whilst writing this review (tutors will be proud) but I reallt don't have a single bad thing to say about my experiences or the course so far, it is interesting and thought provoking, it makes you question things you think you know about the world and that's amazing. The staff are great they teach with such passion and the support that's available is superb. If I have a problem of any kind there is someone I can go to and if they can't help, they know someone who can.
