We want to help you make sure it is the right one. Recent events have marked the start of a bright new future for further education in our area. The merging of Havant Sixth Form College and South Downs College means two campuses, one College, but most importantly, one incredible journey for our students. With our high level of student success it’s no wonder over one third of all 16 to 18 year olds in the region attend the College. From academic subjects to job-specific vocations, we have the course for you. All of our study programmes are designed to prepare you for the world of work and, in many cases, our students progress to university level study as part of their career plan. We work in partnership with many employers providing traineeships, apprenticeships and valuable work experience and part of your study programme may be based with an employer.

There’s plenty of social areas where you can mix with friends between lessons, plus opportunities to do what you like doing outside classes. For example, our enrichment programmes give you the chance to indulge your extra-curricular interests, while our sports clubs give you opportunities to continue playing the sports you like to play. You can also become active within our Student Union, which organises frequent live music events throughout the year. When you’re good at something you want to make the most of it. That’s why we run an Aim High programme designed to help you accelerate your development in your key areas of strength. This learning initiative comprises extra opportunities to work on the things you particularly enjoy or excel at doing. As a result, you can stand out even more on your university or job applications.
