My 3 years at Stephenson college have come and gone from September 2015 - July 2018.
My first two years at Stephenson was great, I made new friends and settled into the college lifestyle but my last year was great until it came to the rushing of all the exams and the teachers tell me one thing then other thing and making me more confused.
All the hard work on doing my level 2 English was wasted as the college never gave me my certificate at the graduation and even my english teacher told me that I've completed all of the English work that I needed to pass for the certificate.
The lack of communication between teachers and students when it comes down to the exams, deadlines, understanding verbal bullying between other students in and out of lessons and in the classroom.
Communication is key to success and Stephenson college don't communicate as much as you would expect.

As a student that recently left this collage , my experience here was not a pleasant one , the tutors was no help when needed and they was very one sided in certain situations which i experienced. I felt like i was being singled out and not listened to. They also made me promsies and put plans into place to help me enjoy my time at collage which later they did not follow through with. The tutor of my course had there views and opinons on the students and they chose who they wanted to listen to and not . The bullying policy at this collage is not strong enough as they let people off with a warning that have done serious things . Which then resulted in 3 people leaving the course i was on. I didnt want to stay on this course due to all these events and also being told by my tutor that i wasnt going to succeed in my chosen career as i didnt have the best exam results , but isn't that why i went back to collage ? I dont think the tutors stick to what they say . This was my experience here and i wouldn't suggest anyone to attend - sophie
