Our vision is to be a world-class university – one with a dynamic, enterprising approach to solving global challenges; one that enables students to create their place in the world; one that defines the university of tomorrow. So, what does our future hold? Our current strategy lays out the following goals:

  • Enable our students to succeed
  • Deliver world-class research
  • Secure our global position
  • Engage our communities
  • Champion social, cultural and economic growth
  • Secure our future sustainability.

Warwick has made outstanding progress in a very short time. We’ve secured a unique reputation through our ability to combine excellence, creativity and intellectual rigour with agility, professionalism and sustainability. Of course, the next decade will present very different opportunities and challenges to those we’ve faced so far, but our commitment to securing Warwick’s position as a leading global higher education institution remains undimmed. We are proud to fulfil our social obligations to educate, work at the frontiers of knowledge and inculcate enlightenment values. Our university is also committed, in a way that few others are, to generating economic growth for our city, region and the broader national economy in ways that will create more employment, educational opportunities, and resources. It is clear, however, that the current UK university business model is under stress; it cannot continue in its current form.

We are continuing to develop new international partnerships. All of our activities are underpinned by excellence, be it in teaching or research. Our international partnership funds support our staff to foster such international collaborations. our students have a real chance to stand out in the international world of work and research, gain a global perspective and develop the intercultural skills to be a truly positive force in today’s global society. Students can choose to take part in several initiatives including language cafés; mixed nationality group work; and study, work or volunteering abroad. Environmental Sustainability is a core value of the University. Our holistic ambition is to make the University of Warwick a leader in sustainability education and an example of sustainable living enhancing both the student and staff experience. We’ve already taken the following steps towards making the campus greener, Reducing carbon emissions per unit of income by 30% since 2005/6. Constant work to improve the energy efficiency of the existing buildings on campus, and high energy-efficiency standards for new buildings.

At Warwick we work with over 400 successful companies, from global corporates to start-ups in markets including energy, healthcare, transport, advanced manufacturing, financial services and creative media. We accelerate innovation and help ambitious companies to grow by giving them access to our world-class research, education, consultancy facilities and networks of funders, business, support bodies and entrepreneurs, both local and global.

The education here is truly exceptional; my daughter has blossomed under the guidance of attentive staff who genuinely care about each student’s success.

I've been to four universities in the UK and this is the one i'll truly remember! Amazing people, great campus, lovely but tough tutors and a fantastic departure! Goodbye and thanks for all the memories!

Really bad communication during application process, none feedback, nobody responds calls or emails, probably staff is not professional when they could not see emails. I really do not recommend to apply for that university.

I have to say, Warwick exceeded my expectations in all respect. It is a fantastic unviersity with some great people. In terms of academics, I studied law here and I have had an unbelivably enjoyable experience. Whilst the workload was heavy (as expected), there was always friednly lectureres wiling to help, be it through e-mail or after a lecture. All in all, I would strongly recommend this great university.

The worst university ever! The most racist university and staff I have ever come across! Rude! No manners! Do not care about students as long as their pockets are being filled ! Would never recommend will definitely be writing a blog post up about this and posting it everywhere and will be taking this further!

It has a prayer hall for muslims with pretty good facilities inside, which, to me, is a great bonus beside the fact that it's one of the world's best uni..

Top among other universities around the UK, worth studying here, plenty of opportunities to contact and connect with global company from the fairs occupied by the university, numerous numbers of sports and activities to do to not only hanging around the lecture or the library, well-organize student union and services to support and handle all various cases and issues from students.

Great time at this university! Would recommend it to anyone. As an international student it is great, you learn a lot, and you meet a lot of different people! Don't think twice about going if you've got an offer!
