Arabic Language

The course covers grammar, reading and writing practice and gives insight into the culture of the region. Students will learn the basics of the language and be able to build up enough knowledge to read and write at a basic level. Given the subtle differences between eastern and western cultures, it is beneficial to the students to be aware of such differences which are embedded in the Target Audience.

The Arabic language courses are designed for non-native speakers who need to learn Arabic to meet their social and communication requirements.

What will I learn?
Extensive revision of previous level but with more elaboration including:

• Greetings
• Masculine and feminine words
• Singular pronouns
• The family
• Jobs
• Describing things and adjectives

Grammar

• Attached pronouns (possessive endings)
• Asking questions with yes or no answer
• Plural and dual
• Word order and sentence structure

Cultural content

• Use cultural expressions in a variety of contexts
• Further etiquette in private and public places
• Deeper insight into difference between Modern Standard Arabic and regional dialects

Skills Work

• Practical drills to master reading and writing
• Listening comprehension
• Write simple sentences using the Arabic script

Teaching Methods and Techniques
We consider our methods of teaching superior to most language schools as a result of our extensive experience and number of years working with students from other cultures and nations. A variety of techniques are applied when dealing with the various activities of learning the techniques include individual tasks, pair work, group work, role play, songs, speeches, conversations, of these techniques intends to develop the learners' strategies of practice though repetition, memorization (storage and retrieval), problem solving and monitoring (observing how a message is received and interpreted).
