It takes effort to build a reputation as an international engineering school and be an active partner in technological, economic and social development. Polytechnique's staff members have made the institution what it is today through their ideas, vision, energy and common objective—that of making Polytechnique a success, always aiming higher. The administration, professors, lecturers and managerial and support staff have combined their efforts and contributed in their own way to Polytechnique's intellectual reputation and influence in society.

Bac training is bad. There is no teacher-student interaction, courses are given by "powerpoint readers" and the program (computer engineering) as a whole is disorganized. The exception is not that there are some bad teachers, but there are some good ones. The school has a significant technological backwardness (eg the notes are sent in text files by email). Student life is, however, excellent.

The highest level in poly. committed and reputable teachers. Students are supervised and supported in their courses and projects by the different resources at their disposal. The courses are challenging but it can be done. Dare engineering Poly!

Great school to study in. The education is very good level, I graduated from a Master's degree from there, and realized how the education gained there helped me being more structured in my work.

Did my graduate school here. Initially there is a big negative contrast between McGill and Poly in term of service and technology (ex: internet, mailbox,...). But they have modernized the school in the past few years and it is a lot better now.
I recommend this university, close to gym, bars, resto, etc...
Cafeteria food is subpar...and expensive.

What a great school, it is good that you can enjoy the inner beach and saunas. The girls abound and the renowned professors have the odds. I advise this university to anyone!
