Structure of the course

The test has four parts: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The test has two versions: IELTS Academic exam and IELTS General Training exam. We will be taking each section separately under this course and will focus on strengthening each section for every student. You will learn the following things under each category.

Reading

• Skim through the text while reading it thereby increasing your reading speed.
• Scan the text for specific information.
• Recognize the argument of the text and draw inferences from it.
• Identify the text structure and write the summary.
• Organize the ideas in paragraphs.

Writing

• Summarize and interpret the information presented in graphs, charts, tables, diagrams etc.
• Write an essay in the formal format in response to a situation or argument.
• Write a letter (personal or formal) based on the situation presented.

Speaking

• Introduce yourself and speak on personal topics like family, studies, interests etc.
• Speak on the given topic and answer the related question.
• Learn correct pronunciations, rhythms and stress.
• Speak correctly and confidently on the spot.

Listening

• Learn general listening skills and finding out specific information.
• Learn effective note-taking and note-making strategies.
• Identify the opinion, attitude and main idea of the speakers.
