So I'm 21 years old and I have been attending CLU since I was a freshman. I read some comments below and can't believe people would say such rude things. Cal Lutheran is one of the best universities. Everyone is so friendly here and outgoing. And the teachers actually have one on one time with you instead of making you seem like a face in a crowd. What I don't understand is how people could have made bad comments. First off, college is a two way street...you get out what you want to put in. If you come in with a bad attitude you're going to have a bad experience. If you transfer here, you gotta come with the urge to meet new people. Cal Lutheran provides opportunities for people to meet but it's your decision on whether to take those opportunities or not. Personally, I love cal Lutheran. I've met some life long friends and my teachers are always there when I need advice. For being a small school, I think the other factors add up to benefit you as a person. I love it!

CLU is a great school. I enjoy having small classrooms and knowing that my professors know who I am, that I am not just another number. The Professors here are helpful, however you have to go to them if you need help. Also the students here are very friendly and its easy to make friends. I also like how there is an interest for everyone, there are many options for sports or you can join one of the many various clubs. Also the food here on campus has gotten a lot better since my freshman year, there is a totally new menu at the cafeteria this semester.

This is a great school, the fact that it is a small private school it makes it easier to make long lasting friends and build real solid relationships. I love that everything is so accessible and the people here are great and very friendly.

I have absolutely loved my experience here at CLU. I am so sad I only have one year left, and if I could do it all over again I absolutely would! The professors are so friendly and amazing. I am so lucky to be able to have coffee with all of my professors, and I have even been to some of their houses!

Cal Lutheran is exactly what I hoped it would be. It's a friendly atmosphere to have a full college experience, not just an education. I'm academically challenged and have had the opportunity to do independent and faculty-sponsored research, taking classes as small as 2 on 1. Clubs are abundant and you see students starting new ones every semester. The diversity is constantly increasing. Sporting events have their share of quirks, including the Candy Man who throws candy in the stands everytime we score a touchdown. I have to say I've really enjoyed my experiences here. No school is perfect, but seeing improvements is awesome. The new Dining Commons will resolve the caf issues, and once you have your own kitchen it doesn't matter anyway. If something bothers you, you can get it fixed if you put some time into it. Here the staff and faculty care about your opinion!

Any level of school is what YOU make of it. I paid cash for all of my higher level learning because it was a good ROI. CLU's MBA program is a well designed offering. The person complaining that the lack of a mandatory GMAT for entry is just an underachiever. You get as much as you want out of it. There is no doubt that going to USC or UCLA will produce better job offers. That said I have had no problem since graduating 10 years ago landing plenty of offers and high paying jobs. Getting an MBA from a reputable school like CLU has made a huge difference in my earning potential.
