Our Community Studies program provides an awareness of the social processes that make up society, and emphasizes research design and experiential learning. In our program, students gain a grasp on the fields of sociology and behavioral sciences, focusing mainly on the topic of community and its place in modern American society.The flexibility of our Community Studies program enables students to enjoy an emphasis on Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, or a general program of behavioral science courses.

Our Business Administration program provides students with the educational foundation that will help them thrive in the modern business environment. The program emphasizes business ethics, a global perspective, and the ability to examine business issues from the viewpoint of multiple disciplines.

We strive to ensure our program strengthens students’ skills and provides them with the real-world problem-solving techniques that will support their success in their careers. Our Business Administration program offers three concentrations to help students focus on their interests and enhance their skills: Management; Marketing and Business Communication; and Human Resources Management.

Our Accounting program will enable students to gain the educational foundation and skills required for financial decision-making, as well as open the door to countless career options. Our program allows focused students to gain a grasp of accounting fundamentals, business ethics, a global perspective, and the ability to examine business issues from the viewpoint of multiple disciplines.

Court reporters are responsible for producing the official record of legal trials, hearings, and depositions—making them integral to the legal system. Opportunities in this profession go beyond the courtroom to any setting where instant translation is requested. Students are trained to use an abbreviated method of writing the spoken word on a unique keyboard. Using translation software, it is converted into English text in real time.Trained captioners use this process to provide real time translation for consumers who are deaf and hard-of-hearing.
