I love the College of Engineering. The sense of community there is great. The people at UM were directly responsible for me getting great internships and work experience.

Overall, Miami is a great place to grow as a college student. Being from out of state, I have learned a great deal about living independently and dealing with people. You have a wide diversity of people (ethnically and spiritually) and you really make great relationships for the future. Although the academics could be a bit better and I was somewhat at a shock seeing how some of my peers actually got into UM, the pros easily outweigh the cons. I could go on and on about how great this school has been for me thus far, but its just easier to simply say that it evokes all the great qualities (socially and academically) a college is supposed to provide.
