UWF's Humanities department provided me with the education I needed to think critically in my job, and gave me a passion to share that kind of knowledge with students of my own.

UWF is a top of the line school. Great dorms, facilities, gym, and business school. I have an ocean view from my dormroom! UWF has a very private school like atmosphere, but at the same time they are growing at a very rapid pace. It is a truly exciting time to be at this school!

The Pre-Law department it superb. The faculty, especially Susan W. Harrell, are amazing. The faculty really work hard to form personal relationships with students. Receptions, high end dinners with judges and lawyers, and a very challenging curriculum make the Pre-Law department the best on campus. UWF is the only school with a designated Pre-Law program in the state. This school is amazing.

UWF is an excellent school. Academics are top notch. This is a really exciting time to be at UWF, as the school is growing very quickly. There are brand new dorms everywhere, and they are building a massive football stadium this summer. There is a wonderful energy on this growing camps. Pensacola is an excellent town. Gallery night downtown, beaches, a lot of bars and clubs. The vinil music venue is amazing.

UWF has one of the best nursing programs in the nation, and with the huge healthcare industry in Pensacola it is very easy to find a good job or an internship.

UWF is a top notch school in Florida. I highly recommend it. The faculty are excellent! If you are willing to put in the work, then the faculty will bend over backwards for you.

Excellent school. UWF is small, but it is growing. It's hard to get into this school, as their goal is to keep class sizes small. This school has a very distinct private school feel, and the academics are excellent. Everyone graduating seems to have excellent jobs lined up and/or going to grad school. This is a place to become a logical thinker and a professional. If you are not mature enough to go to a top-of-the-line academic school, then stay away from UWF, as this is not a party-school or a social club. But if you want to become a true professional and an academic, then this is the place for you.

Comparatively speaking, UWF's Pre-Law program fully and completely prepared me for law school. My first year at FSU law has been fun. Many other students here are struggling because they got blow-off political science degrees at large schools where excellence was not expected and one could get by with mediocrity. If you are considering graduate school or law school after your BA/BS, I strongly recommend UWF.

Im a freshman at UWF, and I absolutely love it. UWF is a great school with very friendly students and an almost very helpful and friendly staff. It is definitely small compared to schools such as FSU and UF, but I honestly think that is a major plus. I would not call UWF very small I think the size is just perfect, your teachers will know your name and you will be able to meet new people everyday. It is up to YOU to get involved, there are many clubs/organizations available to you if you take advantage of them, and I fully encourage you to do so it makes campus life so much more amazing. I encourage you to live on campus! It is an awesome beyond awesome experience! But if you do commute I recommend keeping up to date with all the cool on campus events! Overall, life as argonaut if great, just make sure to study hard and get involved. Pensacola is...nice, but you definitely have to search out you hang out spots. I am a theater major and love it! The professors are phenomenal!
