Warner university is committed to guiding individuals toward christ-like character and intellectual maturity who are equipped to serve. It’s time to get to know your admissions team! Warner is more than just an academic institution — We are a community. As an admissions team, we look forward to spending time with you and getting to know you on a personal level.

Many students find federal loans to be the best way to pay for their college education. That’s why we participate in the Federal Direct Loan Program, which consists of the Federal Direct Stafford (subsidized) Loan, the Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan, the Federal Direct PLUS Loan, and the Federal Direct Consolidation Loan Program. The U.S. Department of Education is the lender and, except for consolidation loans, delivers loan proceeds through the school.

WU disburses the loans after loans have been processed and approved and classes have begun. When it is time for repayment, students (or their parents) will send all loan payments to the federal loan servicer.

Grants are financial awards from the federal and state governments that do not have to be paid back. Grants are awarded to students who meet the required set of qualifications. All U.S. citizens (and eligible non-citizens) must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each school year in order to determine eligibility for federal grants. In addition, Warner University offers several other grants for eligible students. You can earn scholarships! Each year, billions of dollars are given through outside scholarships available to college students. A simple web search on Google or Yahoo! can allow students to find available scholarships and applications.

The Warner Student Activities department is sort of like a hub for a pick-your-own-adventure….Just better! Start here to find where you can jump into cultural, educational, social, and recreational programs. You’ll grow through unique learning experiences, committee involvement, and volunteer opportunities.

Founded as Warner Southern College in 1968 by Church of God pastors and laity, the institution became known as Warner University in 2008. The first freshman class of just 27 students entered in the fall of 1968. But now, Warner bustles with over 1,077 students from over 30 states and 20 countries, all dedicated to learning in a vibrant Christian community. Our West campus has grown from two buildings to ten, including the new 49,000-square-foot Darby Academic Building. Warner consists of three schools: School of Ministry, Arts & Sciences; School of Business; and the School of Education. The undergraduate program includes over 25 liberal arts and professional majors. We also offer three graduate level programs designed for working professionals: Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Education, and Master of Science in Management. In addition to the main campus in Lake Wales, Warner offers courses online.

Warner’s liberal arts curriculum, in a wide variety of academic disciplines, prepares students to successfully meet the demands of today’s workplace and the challenges of graduate school. We develop servant leaders who evaluate issues from a Christian perspective and who strive to live out their belief in their communities, churches, and homes. The administration, faculty and staff are highly qualified in their areas of service, and dedicated to the ministry of higher education. Together, they model the values of Christian community for the students, the local area, and the world. Warner University is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II and The Sun Conference.

Students compete in a number of intercollegiate sports, including baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. The university also supports a spirit squad and cheerleading (pom/dance).
