These awards supersede any academic merit awards and are limited to tuition expenses only. Non-music majors who commit to participating in large ensembles and enroll in private lessons may also audition for smaller Music Performance Awards.

Students may choose from a wide-range of off-campus programs in over 45 countries, including summer and semester-long study abroad, Winter Term in Service, and Honor Scholar and Fellows’ internship and practicum experiences. Take a literary journey through Vietnam, study multiculturalism in Moorish Spain or travel down the Silk Road in China. We take special care to match students to programs that meet their unique academic goals and cultural interests. Foreign language study is available at all levels of language proficiency.

Every off-campus program and location is different. It may involve independent field study, foreign university courses, internships, service projects or personal development opportunities. Students learn about local cultures, languages and common practices as they connect with people in a new setting. They become more aware of the world’s varied predicaments related to the environment, economy, resources, health and ideology, and the need to search for shared solutions. Students often return to campus with a better understanding of their career aspirations and where they hope to make a difference.

I love it! Faculty are great and extremely helpful. The campus is beautiful and facilities are really good. I LOVE the greek life as well - parties are awesome. I have to work really hard, and the library is a great place to study (trust me, I practically live there).

It is incredible. There is so much going on that I'm glad I'm not in a big city because I don't need it. I never want to leave DePauw University.

I just started graduate From DePauw University, and already I have applied TONS of things that I learned during my undergraduate studies. My only complaints are that DePauw does not offer a degree in biochemistry (that might be changing soon though) and that DePauw does not offer BS degrees, only BA degrees. However, I think getting a BA at a liberal arts college is worth it because you are exposed to many different subjects, not just your particular area of study. Overall, it was a very good experience for me.
