The mission of Lindsey Wilson College is to serve the educational needs of students by providing a living-learning environment within an atmosphere of active caring and Christian concern where every student, every day, learns and grows and feels like a real human being.

The Academic Success Center houses First Year Experience, peer tutoring and a computer labs. Students are encouraged to utilize the center as a resource for improving study strategies and other academic needs including tutoring in all subjects except mathematics and writing.

The Office of Administration and Finance supports the college's mission by providing high-quality administrative, human resources, technology and auxiliary services, as well as maintaining the physical environment. The office leads efforts to protect and enhance the college's assets through sound business practices and institutional planning.

Alumni play an important role in the success of Lindsey Wilson College. The Office of Alumni Relations is committed to fostering a lifelong relationship between our graduates and the LWC community - strengthening our common bond. As partners for the future, we believe our success will continue.

The mission of the intercollegiate athletics program reflects and supports the institution's mission by providing an instrument where student-athletes' educational needs are served by providing a living-learning environment within an atmosphere of active caring Christian concern where student-athletes learn and grow through their participation in athletics.

The mission of the Lindsey Wilson College Career Services Center is to promote various career services programs while assisting every student and all alumni in establishing, evaluating, and activating individual career goals and plans in which they find fulfilling.

We know tuition costs can stretch most families' budgets and can be a barrier to enrollment. That is why Lindsey Wilson uses a variety of federal, state and institutional funds to help keep a college education affordable. The typical Lindsey Wilson financial aid package includes a combination of grants, loans and part-time employment. Scholarships are awarded to students based on demonstrated financial need and/or academic achievement.

The Lindsey Wilson College Student Government Association (SGA) is responsible for coordinating student clubs and organizations for the purpose of student development and student leadership. It is active in assisting with the planning, promotion, and coordination of student activities and community-service projects. SGA exists to provide leadership opportunities through student governance and to serve as a voice for student concerns and needs.

The Student Activities Office, located in the Cralle Student Union Building, is dedicated to providing meaningful extra- and co-curricular activities to the student population of Lindsey Wilson College. In keeping with the Mission, the office offers opportunities for students to grow and develop every day through events and activities on and off campus.

The mission of Student Services is to support and complement the academic mission of Lindsey Wilson College. The Office of Student Services strives to provide a holistic experience that contributes to the cultural, emotional, intellectual, moral, physical, professional, social, and spiritual development of students. It is important to us that each student attain the success of which we know they are capable. Our open-door policy allows students to build life-long and life-changing relationships with the staff. When the need arises, we handle disciplinary situations pertaining to student conduct in a judicial manner. Students may also visit our office to receive their student IDs.

The LWC Center for Excellence in Research provides an important opportunity for invited scholars to discuss, debate, and examine crucial educational issues that are relevant to all educational programs in general but the doctoral program in particular. This Center for Excellence in Research (CER) will also provide much needed information to train interested faculty and students in how to conduct research and use statistical programs, including developed technological packages which have great relevance to current educational research and scholarship.

Continuing education activities and faculty development workshops will be conducted on a continuing basis through this research center. Faculty and doctoral students will participate in research discussions on the last Friday of each month and share results of their research studies with their colleagues and peers on this website under a column called, Monthly Research Highlights.

To educate the citizens of the community, several subjects of relevance to them will be discussed by the panelists on the radio or television. The Center for Excellence in Research will serve as the clearinghouse for needed information on several topics such as domestic violence, substance abuse, poverty, career choices, stress, mental depression etc. Presently, several continuing efforts are being made through individual and group meetings and through faculty retreats to encourage research, scholarship and creative activities at Lindsey Wilson College.

The Center for Excellence in Research is intended to provide essential support, guidance, and encouragement to promote and enhance research and creative activities of both the students and the faculty of Lindsey Wilson College.
