The education at this Michigan university is truly top-notch; the staff go above and beyond to support students, and I've watched my child blossom academically and personally.

Grand Valley State University is a such wonderful school! The biology curriculum, although difficult, is excellent. Most of the professors I've had have been great. The university has a liberal arts approach to education, focusing on creating a well-rounded student. It's great, I transferred from Michigan State because of the size and I can actually interact with the professors. All classes are taught by professors; no T.A.'s (except sometime in lab). I'd recommend Grand Valley to anyone who wishes to obtain a high quality education, is partial to smaller classes, and really wants to learn at an affordable rate!

I love this school. I am extremely happy with my decision to come here. Its becoming one of the top schools in the State of Michigan and just keeps gaining more and more respect each year along with more and more students now topping over 24,000 strong. According to a survey done recently Grand Valley State University was the second hardest public university to get into in Michigan based on average ACT and high school GPA behind U of M Ann Arbor. Go Lakers!

I thought my experience at Grand Valley State University was outstanding - both in academics and athletics. The professors worked with you and assisted you when you had questions. I was a health science major taking biology, chemistry, bio-chem, etc. and management courses like accounting, hospital administration, etc. My experiences and grades allowed me to be accepted into both grad schools I applied to for a Master's in Hospital Administration. Would go back to GV for additional educational experience. Despite living in a state far away I go back to campus at least once per year - met great people and professors.

I believe that Grand Valley State University has established a great reputation as a liberal arts college. Being in the Public Relations field is easy because everyone likes to talk. I also know that Grand Valley is striving to get national recognition for it's academic achievements.
