Lehman College’s graduate studies programs are dedicated to dynamic research, diversity, and the active engagement of students in their academic, personal, and professional development. Class schedules are arranged to accommodate working professionals, reasonably priced tuition enables scholars to work toward the future affordably, and extensive resources are available to enhance learning. Located in the Bronx and a short ride to the center of Manhattan, Lehman is home to over 2,300 graduate students.
Lehman College offers an extensive array of more than 40 master's degrees in: the humanities, fine arts, natural sciences, health fields, teacher education, social work, and business. The Office of Graduate Admissions hosts regular, program-specific information sessions for many of our graduate programs. Our Graduate Information Sessions are designed to highlight the benefits and value of a Lehman College graduate degree and provide prospective applicants with an overview of our graduate programs. It is also an opportunity to meet with faculty and learn more about the application process, tuition costs, and transfer credits.
Lehman College’s Instructional Support Services Program (ISSP) is home of the Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) and Science Learning Center (SLC). The ISSP provides Lehman students with the opportunity to achieve academic success through the guidance and encouragement of peer tutors and professional staff members.
We invite students and faculty to utilize the services offered through the ISSP, which include workshops and tutoring for undergraduate and graduate students seeking to improve their skills in writing and content knowledge in specific courses. At the ISSP, all of our tutors have received grades of A or A- in the classes they tutor and most are certified by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA).

The Lehman College campus is a thriving, productive, and nurturing environment, where student's benefit from numerous college sponsored support services and network activities via Lehman's popular clubs and organizations. The college's Center for the Performing Arts and APEX provide quality entertainment, fitness, athletic and recreational activities.
The mission of the Office of Campus Life is to actively engage students in their academic personal and professional development. This is accomplished through involvement in co-curricular and extracurricular activities such as student government, clubs, leadership training programs, conferences, retreats, and dialogues.
Our co-curricular programs are framed using the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education CAS Standards and aim to teach students to reflect on their experiences, make connections, and apply this knowledge to real world scenarios.
The Counseling Center at Lehman College is a safe place for students to talk about any concerns they may have. The Counseling Center offers free and confidential therapy which is provided in a safe environment where students can address issues that may be keeping them from attaining their academic goals. All students are treated with respect and are seen as individuals with unique strengths.
The mission of the Financial Aid Office at Lehman College is to help students apply for, receive and maintain eligibility for various types of financial aid. The office provides financial assistance to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue and achieve their educational and professional goals. The office strives to provide timely and accurate financial aid processing that is in full compliance with all federal, state and university regulations. The Financial Aid Office is committed to the highest level of customer service and effective, efficient delivery of financial assistance from federal, state, private and institutional sources to all Lehman College students.
The Career Exploration & Development Center is dedicated to educating, advising, and connecting students to career and post graduate opportunities. The staff are experts in providing guidance and services to currently enrolled students, alumni, faculty and staff.
The Career Exploration & Development Center (CEDC) assists Lehman students and alumni with all phases of their career development, to help them transition from college to career. This includes career exploration and counseling, deciding on a major, employer connections and internships. We strive to provide the highest standards of comprehensive and specialized services so that students may successfully meet the challenges of a globally competitive job market.
