The University of Findlay is a flexible, forward-looking institution that is constantly seeking ways to better serve students and the community. In today’s fast-paced world, Findlay is continually adapting programs and teaching methods to meet the needs of current students who are preparing for tomorrow’s careers. Education at The University of Findlay is offered in formats that accommodate students of all ages and their time-pressured lifestyles.

Findlay offers courses at night, on weekends and online. The University of Findlay has nearly 60 majors leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers nine master’s degrees, a doctor of pharmacy and a doctor of physical therapy. Unusual and well-recognized programs include equestrian studies, pre-veterinary medicine (animal science/pre-veterinary medicine option), nuclear medicine technology, occupational therapy and physical therapy, as well as environmental, safety and occupational health management. Graduate programs offered include a master of arts in education, a master of arts in teaching English as a second language (TESOL) and bilingual education, a master of business administration, a master of athletic training, a master of occupational therapy, a master of physician assistant, a master of rhetoric and writing, a master of health informatics and a master of science in environmental, safety and health management, as well as the doctor of pharmacy and doctor of physical therapy. The MBA, bachelor's degree completion program, master of science in environmental, safety and health management and master of arts in education also are offered entirely online in addition to classes held on campus.

As a private university, our focus in challenging our students through a rigorous and comprehensive educational experience that is structured on both preparing them for their chosen career and developing skills that will help them exceed wherever their path in life takes them.

At Findlay, the experiences outside of the classroom are as important as what they learn inside. With real-world experience built into all of our academic programs, a strong study abroad program, our Center for Career and Professional Development and a focus on community service, UF graduates are knowledgeable, confident, service-oriented and informed individuals.

The caring, family environment has been a constant of the student experience at Findlay, regardless of if they attended here in the 1950s or if they are sitting in classrooms today. Our faculty and staff are focused on helping students find their passions in life and excel at them. Our alumni say that their faculty have become their life-long mentors and friends because of the personal relationships they developed as a student.

The University was founded in 1882 through a partnership with the City of Findlay and the Churches of God because both entities believed the community needed a place where individuals could find their calling in life through scholarship, faith, service and the sharing of ideas. These values are still true today at UF. The University of Findlay is a place where individuals from all faiths are welcomed and guided to excel at their chosen vocation.

Findlay's students showcase their best work during the annual Symposium for Scholarship and Creativity. Each year, more than 300 students share their research and creativity. Many students present their research at professional forums regionally and nationally.

Student employees are an integral part of the day-to-day workings of the campus community. It is designed to provide you with part-time employment experience, supplemental income, and educational benefits outside the classroom. Almost every academic department, administrative office, and auxiliary area employs students in a variety of capacities.
