Carlow students can study abroad for an entire academic year, one semester, several weeks, or over spring break. These opportunities are available in locations around the world—from England to Russia to Tanzania to Thailand.

These experiences assist students in shaping your identities as citizens who will create positive change in the world. Some of the leadership opportunities at Carlow University are through Student Government, clubs and student organizations, and service as peer tutors. The Office of Campus Life assists students as they develop events, programs, and services for other students and the Carlow community. The Office of Campus Life serves as a central location for students to become involved with campus activities and events to further develop social and leadership skills and to meet students with similar interests.
Campus Life is comprised of many components including the Campus Activities Board, Student Government Association, Orientation, and Residence Life. These are only a handful of the many organizations that Carlow has to offer.There are many opportunities for students to work, volunteer, and/or hold significant campus leadership positions in the office, on campus, and in the Pittsburgh community. Throughout the year, the Office of Campus Life will promote opportunities for leadership development -- on and off campus.
Study abroad, supported by the Center for Global Learning, provides you with a hands-on, international experience that enhances your academic career here at Carlow.
