Here, they share a symbiotic relationship. Our tradition of academic excellence prepares you to respond to your unique calling. Likewise, our learning and living experience promotes a distinctly Christian worldview. Because at Grove City College, making the grade isn’t just about achievements in the classroom—it’s about choosing to lead a purposeful, contributive life beyond the years spent on campus.

At The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College, we view a love for truth and a love for liberty as inseparable allies. Liberty cannot flourish long in the absence of truth, and truth is not affirmed where liberty is denied. In fact, America’s extraordinary achievement lies in the essential combination of both truth and liberty. Since 2005 we have worked to strengthen the faith and freedom foundation of American citizenship. The Center for Vision & Values is a leading forum for the study and application of freedom to economic, political, social, religious, and scientific issues. Explore our scholarship, attend an upcoming lecture, and consider an investment in our essential work.

America is exceptional because its foundation rests on truth. The passionate pursuit and defense of that truth is the quest of The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College. We seek to create a dynamic learning community to connect, educate, and empower people to strengthen the faith and freedom foundation of American citizenship and to advance liberty around the world.

The reason we go to college is to learn. But at Grove City College, we don’t just teach out of textbooks. Our signature liberal arts curriculum provides students with a unified Christian worldview across the arts and sciences, while our major programs prepare students to become leaders across a wide range of career and professional fields. It’s about educating the whole person. And it’s one of the reasons our graduates are eagerly sought by the nation’s top businesses, nonprofit organizations, and graduate schools.

At Grove City College, opportunities for STEM majors are practically unlimited. Perhaps that explains why nearly 40% of the College’s 2,500 students are enrolled in a major in The Hopeman School. Find out what makes our STEM program truly one-of-a-kind.

Our founders believed that those who were educated in the liberal arts were uniquely equipped to preserve and advance the values of faith and freedom. Almost 150 years later, our liberal arts commitment is as strong as it’s ever been.

Grove City College students have the opportunity to learn from accomplished scholars who are experts in their chosen fields. Many of these professors invite students to participate in research projects outside the classroom. Find an opportunity that suits you.

A Grove City College education prepares students to excel in graduate studies. In addition to developing expertise in your chosen discipline, students cultivate the critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills necessary to succeed. Outstanding professors are eager for the opportunity to mentor and guide young scholars along their path. Not only do Grove City College students continue their studies in graduate degree programs at premier universities, but many secure prestigious awards, including Lilly Graduate Fellowships and Fulbright Grants, for example.

A lot can happen over the course of nearly 150 years, and Grove City College’s rich history reflects that. But some things never change. The principles and values that the College was founded to advance – faithfulness, excellence, community, stewardship, and independence – are the same ones we hold fast to today, and our commitment to providing the best liberal arts and sciences education in the country is as strong now as it was in 1876.

Faithfulness to our 1876 founding purpose is one of the our core values, and it is central to our unique higher education story. Daily, we seek to be faithful to our mission to equip students to pursue their unique callings through an academically excellent and Christ-centered learning and living experience. This dedication through the years of the Grove City College community, including nearly 28,000 alumni, has led us to the pinnacle of nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences colleges.

Our road has not been easy, but extraordinary accomplishment rarely is. Faithfulness to our mission led us to and through a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case in the 1980s. Today, faithfulness to our mission creates educational outcomes that employers and graduate schools find highly desirable.

Grove City College is amazing. If you feel your heart being led to spend 4 years here growing in God, and fellowshipping with fellow Christians this is the school for you. The academics are challenging, vigorous, and well worth every thing you can get out of it and put into it. The campus itself is gorgeous, beautiful, and comfortable.

I really enjoy in Grove City College. The students and faculty there are some of the greatest people you will ever meet. My professors are truly interested in preparing me to be the best teacher I can possibly be. I really like that my professors all make a point of knowing my name and getting to know me. Grove City does a great job of treating me as a person and not just a number.I would definitely recommend looking at this college.

Grove City College is a fabulous college. I learned more in the four years that I spent at Grove City than at any other point in my life. A+ for academic quality - the professors will challenge you to think critically. A+ for social atmosphere, the people there are amazingly friendly.

I really do enjoy living at Grove City College. The students are friendly and I have really grown in my faith. I am very involved with Greek life and I participated in multiple IM sports. The professors are very approachable and they help you actually learn the material. You do have to study, even if you did not study in high school. Do not expect to get an easy A. However, this is what I had hoped for in a college. It will prepare you for a future career or grad school.
