Lobsterfest is a picnic that features whole Maine lobsters as the main course and live music as the entertainment. In addition, the Student Organization Fair is held during Lobsterfest. During the Fair, many of the College's student organizations set up display tables so that new students have the opportunity to see the many activities available to them.Juniata has dozens of clubs and organizations on campus that give students the opportunity to develop different skills, support various causes, grow as a person, make friends and/or just have fun! There's so much to choose from - and if for some reason you don't find what you're looking for, you can start your own group,

There are few things that touch a person more deeply than an exceptional work of art or an uplifting musical performance. No matter what field of study our students choose; no matter what career path they ultimately take, it's through the arts that they gain an understanding of our humanity, and become the well-rounded individuals that Juniata has always sought to send into the world. Many Juniata graduates vividly remember acting in a play, creating a work of art, singing with the choir, or performing a recital to a live audience. The excitement and benefit of the arts at Juniata has not been limited to the participants alone. Exhibits and performances at Juniata College benefit the student body as a whole and expand the cultural outlook for faculty, staff and the entire Huntingdon community.

At Juniata College, my son has blossomed academically, surrounded by dedicated staff who genuinely care about his success and growth.

Juniata College is an absolutely wonderful school for the right type of person (the right type of person being someone open-minded and truly interested in learning, though not necessarily a genius). Opportunities for personal growth abound if you are willing to take advantage of them. The faculty is mostly very accessible and friendly, and classes are challenging and interesting.

I have really enjoyed going to school at Juniata College. I feel that I am getting a useful education, the faculty and students are very friendly, and the campus is beautiful. Juniata has a lot of fun traditions as well as resources for schoolwork. The surrounding town is very dull, but there are usually some on-campus activities during the weekends. The food is generally good but not great, and the dorms are pretty generic, but the people at Juniata really make the college shine.

Juniata College is a great school for students who are seeking a well-rounded, liberal arts education. Though the location is pretty rural and isolated, professors and students tend to be friendly and down-to-earth people. The environment is relatively relaxed and comfortable, and the campus is extremely safe. If you're looking for a huge party school, Juniata is not for you. If you're looking for a close-knit environment, then Juniata is ideal.

I loved Juniata College so much from start to finish. I had a great group of diverse friends and we made our own "fun" on a regular basis. There was always a party, card game, study group, and places to just hang out. We went hiking in the fall and spring in the nearby parks, sledding in the winter, and used the athletic facilities. I conducted several independent research projects with my department chair and always got into the classes I wanted. My daughters attend JC (junior and freshman). My daughter who is a junior, has a great group of friends and she loves the school. We live in the D.C. area and Juniata College is a welcome change to the constant traffic jams and crowds of commuters. I attended a large university for grad school, and I was even less than a number in that environment. My classes at JC were far more challenging than my grad work. College is what you make it. The school can only provide so much. Juniata taught me how to think and for that, I am very grateful!

Juniata College challenges you to grow. They close relationships with professors are very valuable. Juniata College gave me lots of opportunities for the kinds of "hands-on" research that is usually done by graduate students at larger universities.
