Performance Management is much wider than simple performance appraisal. It refers to activities, tools, processes, and programmes that manage the performance of individual employees, teams, departments, and other organizational units.

Delegates will practice designing effective job descriptions using KPIs (key performance indicators) to clarify performance expectations. Preparation and delivery of Performance Appraisals will also be covered.

The course will develop degates' ability to conduct ongoing performance coaching and help them give clear and actionable feedback to continually improve performance. Poor performance will also be addressed using tools like Personal Development plans and Performance Improvement plans.
