The ACCA Qualification will provide you with skills and knowledge relevant to any business, which means you are free to choose which type of accountancy role and organisation you want to work for.

Course Structure

To qualify as an ACCA member, a candidate will be required to do the following:

• Attempt and clear 13 exams (ACCA does provide exemptions in some exams depending upon the candidate’s previous qualification)
• Record 36 months’ experience in a relevant role. The candidate can acquire the experience before /during/ after completion of the qualification.
• Complete the Ethics and Professional Skills module.

The 13 courses and exams of ACCA are divided into three levels:Knowledge, Skills and Professionals

Applied Knowledge level:

• F1: Business and Technology (BT)
• F2: Management Accounting (MA)
• F3: Financial Accounting (FA)

Students will be awarded the ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business once they have successfully completed all three exams. Each exam will be

Strategic Professional level:

There are two essential exams:

• P1: Strategic Business Leader (SBL)
• P2: Strategic Business Reporting (SBR)

And two from four options:

• P3;Advanced Financial Management (AFM)

1. P4 : Advanced Performance Management (APM)
2. P5 : Advanced Taxation (ATX)
3. P6 : Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA)

Duration: 3 hours 15 minutes per paper except ACCA -SBL which is four hours
