Part-Time Instructors (UK Curriculum Specialists)

The IBTE Centre in Dubai is a premier institution dedicated to providing world-class vocational and technical education. We are seeking experienced instructors with specific expertise in the UK academic system to deliver our internationally recognized qualifications.

The Roles:

• We are looking for practicing professionals who are not only experts in their field but also possess direct experience in teaching and assessing UK-aligned qualifications, specifically NCC Education / Pearson BTEC programs. These part-time roles are perfect for those who understand the rigorous standards, assessment methodologies, and pedagogical approaches of the UK system.
• General Key Responsibilities for All Disciplines:
• Deliver engaging instruction and assessment for NCC Education and/or Pearson BTEC qualifications, ensuring full compliance with UK awarding body standards, learning outcomes, and grading criteria.
• Develop and mark assignments, projects, and practical assessments in strict accordance with NCC and Pearson specifications and protocols.
• Guide, mentor, and support a diverse student cohort, preparing them for success in a UK-style academic environment.
• Integrate real-world industry scenarios with the theoretical framework required by the UK curriculum.
• Participate in internal verification and standardization processes, mirroring UK quality assurance practices.

1. Part-Time Mechanical Engineering Instructor

• Modules: Thermodynamics, Mechanical Principles, CAD, Engineering Mathematics.
• Essential: Experience in delivering UK qualifications (e.g., Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Engineering, NCC Level 4/5 Diploma in Computing/Engineering).

2. Part-Time Architectural Technology Instructor

• Modules: Architectural Design, Building Technology, BIM, Sustainable Construction.
• Essential: Experience in delivering UK qualifications (e.g., Pearson BTEC HND in Construction and the Built Environment).

3. Part-Time Hospitality Management Instructor

• Modules: Food and Beverage Operations, Guest Experience Management, Global Tourism, Hospitality Finance.
• Essential: Experience in delivering UK qualifications (e.g., Pearson BTEC HND in Hospitality Management, NCC Level 5 Diploma in Business).

4. Part-Time Business Management Instructor

• Modules: Business Strategy, Marketing Principles, Human Resources, International Business.
• Essential: Experience in delivering UK qualifications (e.g., NCC Education Level 4/5 Diploma in Business, Pearson BTEC HND in Business).
• What We Are Looking For (Essential Criteria):
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field; a Ph.D degree is highly preferred.
• Proven and recent experience in teaching, assessing, and internally verifying NCC Education and/or Pearson BTEC qualifications within the UK academic system.
• Current, relevant industry experience.
• In-depth knowledge of UK grading standards, assessment principles, and quality assurance procedures.
• Availability to teach during evenings and/or weekends.
