DBS is a thriving British international school, located in The Springs and Meadows area of Dubai’s Emirates Hills. As a Taaleem school, we provide high-quality education to over a thousand students aged 3 to 18.

The school is a warm and happy one, with a philosophy firmly grounded in positive education with wellbeing at the very heart of all we do. Our approach is to develop a fully inclusive learning community which is positive, engaged and connected in line with our vision statement of 'Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve'.

Our guiding statements, led by the approach ‘feeling good, doing good,’ perfectly capture the ethos of our great school, where students thrive in a nurturing yet challenging environment – able to achieve the best possible educational outcomes and to flourish as individuals during the experience. We celebrate this individuality in all that we do, praising a musical solo as warmly as we do an A* grade and promoting a wonderful piece of artwork or sporting brilliance as much as we do an entrance into the University of Cambridge.

Our students are 6C learners; they are critical thinkers, communicators, cooperative, caring, creative and courageous in all they do. These learning skills are inherent in, and intrinsic to, the preparation of children for each stage of their academic careers and beyond.

Schools are often talked about as being ‘happy places’, but DBSEH is made up of happy people - happy to be respected, valued, and appreciated, given every opportunity to succeed in a way that is meaningful to them. We do hope that you are able to visit the school, to see and feel this for yourself, and to hopefully join the DBSEH community as a student, parent or member of staff.

It is this warmth of spirit that sets DBS apart, where every student, every member of staff and every parent can find their place.

Our vision at Dubai British School we believe that every member of our community Enjoy, Aspire, Achieve!

We provide a curriculum which is based on the National Curriculum of England (also commonly referred to as the ‘UK Curriculum’ or ‘British Curriculum’).

British education has achieved a reputation for quality and is recognised and respected around the world. One of the huge benefits is how transferable it is – students can move seamlessly from country to country or move back to the UK while studying the National Curriculum of England.

The National Curriculum is a set of broad and balanced subjects and standards used by primary and secondary schools so children learn the same things. It covers what subjects are taught and the standards children should reach in each subject.

My two daughters are studying and I can only say that this school is incredible. School environment is very clean and the school builds study habits as well as character in students which is very beneficial for students. In fact this is the real world. Teachers are very talented, passionate about their job and willing to help students all time.

As resident's of Dubai's Springs community, DBS is a true gem of a school. We were fortunate enough to get placement for our little boy and have not been prouder. Besides the convenience of location, i have found DBS to be a well respected school in Dubai, thanks in part to the great work of its teachers and management team. Fees are slightly on the higher end, but i assume that's worth it considering they hire some very qualified professionals!

My little sister is in middle school, we’re new to the school. We find this school very academic for student (very focused on learning). Principle seems great so far and I haven't heard anything negative about her from parents of other students. The school is very diverse more than anyone can expect.
