All classes at Primary School and Secondary School work with the latest IT technologies, using an innovative, evidence-based approach. The German school in Dubai was founded in 2008 and is located in Academic City. Lessons are taught in German according to the Thuringian curriculum. In addition to the Abitur, DISD also awards the Hauptschulabschluss and Mittlere Schulabschluss.

French and Arabic (for non-native speakers) are professionally and efficiently learned as foreign languages. We guide many of our students to a native level in several languages, especially German, English and Arabic.
We promote the unique German engineering spirit. We strive for STEM excellence (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences, technology) from kindergarten to high school graduation. We achieve this through discovery-based, exploratory learning, a competitive culture, targeted support for gifted students, and intensive contact with research as well as with companies. Its our 2nd year at German International School and we cannot be happier. School focuses on academics without making it a burden on students. Parents are very involved. Teachers and Staff are very loving. Students feel happy going.

The badminton court is available for AED 50 per hour. Love the place and amazing location if you are from Dubai Silicon Oasis. Other courts like basket ball, foot ball etc are available too.

Excellent facility for badminton lovers, have more than 3 courts available at any given point of time.Shower facilities and prayer hall available for use. Also, they have an indoor basketball court.
