Al Hekma International School

AHIS was founded in 1985 and is fully accredited by the Bahrain Ministry of Education and by two world-wide recognized accreditation organizations (MSA) & (NCA). We focus on instilling the values of hospitality, global citizenship, and tolerance toward others. We strive to create an environment that nurtures high self-esteem, intrinsic motivation, low anxiety, and a sense of belonging.

Our mission is to provide students with a balanced international standard education with an emphasis on developing their social, global and cultural skills. Al Hekma strives to build accountable, confident and motivated lifelong learners. Our objective is to offer an educational program that is comprehensive and balanced with an emphasis on social and cultural appreciation, academic skills development, and accountability.

AHIS is affiliated with highly recognized educational institutions that provide professional development and support for improvement and growth such as NESA, ASCD, UNESCO, PTC. Al Hekma provides its students with modern spacious buildings, vast playgrounds, sports facilities and highly equipped science, music, art and computer labs supporting the educational programs.

The school offers its students a wide range of clubs and activities during and after school hours to produce well-rounded personalities with healthy social skills. In the process of their growth, we offer our students a high quality of education enabling them to handle responsibility with determination and confidence.
