I am Wael Al Atrash, student in the college of business administration Major Finance. I have joined the American University in the Emirates in spring 2012-2013, I was amazingly surprised by the warmth and caring of the administration and faculty members. I enjoyed every class especially that all faculty members are very much encouraging, informed and patient. With the support of AUE, I had the opportunity to study my summer course in the United States of America. I have shared knowledge with my colleagues and made many friends. I believe that after my graduation, I will have many opportunities to achieve my professional goals and built up an outstanding career and will definitely be pursuing my education. Hi. I’m Khateeja Hashim and I’m a first year Bachelors in Computer Science student at the American University in the Emirates. The course I’m doing offers majors in Network security, and in Digital Forensics, which is what I’m doing. It is also the reason I am studying in AUE; this is the only university in the UAE that offers a degree in Digital Forensics, and provides students with the latest technology to help understand the field of forensic science and its applications. However, instead of diving straight into the harder part of the course, AUE allows you to pace yourself and enter university life at your own speed, which is a huge relief because the transition from school life to university life can be quite tough. Apart from that, the thing I like about studying here is that a student’s educational prowess and excellence is encouraged and applauded, and it’s not just the Professor’s that help in actualizing a student’s potential. The guidance center at AUE has a program along the lines of peer tutoring that I am a part of. In this program, the student’s that did extremely well in a certain subject tutor or help students that have a difficulty in that subject. Studying at the American University in the Emirates is an experience that I am definitely enjoying, and hope to continue to enjoy for the rest of my university life.

I am Hazzar Alkatlesh, and would like you to know why my decision to register at AUE was one of the best that I have ever made. My classes are often small, and the faculty members always amazingly informed, patient, and encouraging. Students have the opportunity to learn from each other as well, and to practice what they learn in the classroom. I have made many friends at AUE, and am sure that after graduation, I will achieve my further educational and professional goals, as a result of my wonderful educational experience in the College of media and Mass communication.

I am Rami Al-Kasser , student in the college of fine art and design. I’m having bachelor of Interior Design. I’ve joined AUE in Spring 2011-2012. My feedback about AUE in general is really good and I am advising all my friends who are searching for a decent university to join us. The environment in AUE is quite good. The Administration and faculty members are like a family to me, they encouraged me through these years in good and bad times. After graduation I’ll be having a good chance to explore my personality at working field. As a fresh graduate from AUE, I would like to express the joy I had when I met my valuable instructors and professors who gave me a chance to learn, and encourage me so much to create my own successful path through my last three years. There was a sense of excitement to finish my last course, my last semester in AUE, yet I cannot deny how much I will miss those days. What made AUE special is my colleagues who were part of my journey from application to graduation and who provided invaluable support through the highs and lows, and who no doubt saw me at my best and worst. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my teachers and friends at AUE for always pushing me beyond my limits. You have shown me that I could work without batting an eye yet I had only a very few hours of sleep. I’m proud of being one of the graduate students in the third batch for 2013-2014 with the highest honors. We were taught that at the end of each chapter there will always be new challenges, and new joys - whether it was in continuing our education or being very successful in our career, or both. My dream of earning an MBA at an American University finally came true at the American University in the Emirates (AUE). All of my academic requirements were met. I encountered the highest standards of lectures by supportive and experienced professors, in a warm, friendly environment, where interesting and fruitful academic assignments added value to my career. My knowledge and experience considerably expanded with each MBA class I took. This experience encouraged me to work towards my Ph.D. at AUE in the near future.

I’m Mohammad AbuSamra student in the collage of fine art and design, studying interior design. I joined the American University In the Emirates in fall 2012-2013 after a disappointing journey in many universities. Now that I am expected to graduate soon, I believe that joining AUE is the best decision that I have ever made. AUE has a very friendly and professional environment that you can’t find in any other place. The faulty members are very knowledgeable, inspiring and supportive. I always get the help I need from the administration whenever I ask for. I made the friends of my life at AUE and learnt how to be productive and cooperative and appreciate the team work. I am very happy because I am part of this university which made me work on my skills and helped me improve myself to be more creative in my field. I had also the chance to visit Italy and Turkey as field trips to get a hand of practice for some courses. I am grateful that I have persisted in my work at AUE and was helped to get all this knowledge and skills that will make me a unique graduate and best designer and excellent graduate student especially that I am willing to pursue my studies and achieve all my professional dreams and objectives. I am deeply and truly proud to be graduating from AUE.

The road not taken", an amazing poem I was taught in my English Literature class at AUE, where it explained that it is in human nature to think having chosen a different path, a different decision could perhaps had resulted in a better outcome. Nonetheless, I am confident and proud to say that having chosen AUE as a platform to pursue my education was the most wise decision I've ever made throughout my life. To me, AUE is the bridge, no I better say the pillar of the bridge to success; It acknowledged and appreciated my academic performance, hence, gave me the opportunity to study by supporting me financially where no institution had considered in this region. It provided enriched flexible program schedules so that I could have plenty of options to choose for a smooth work-life-study balance. Moreover, AUE offered elective subjects where I had the opportunity to explore different courses offered from different colleges, helping me examining my interest field and be assured of making the right decision. To me, AUE made the impossible possible; when I didn't have the means, yet AUE witnessed my passion, invested in my potentials, and trusted my abilities, and so I was given the chance to participate in a valuable educational trip to Japan, where I met great business leaders, role models, enhanced my skills, and viewed business world from different angle. To AUE: I thank you for grooming me well. I thank you for providing vast educational programs which added value and prestige to my profile. I thank you for making me a peer mentor and young business leader, and finally, I thank you for putting theories into practice

I would like to thank all my friends and my professors, who were with me in this wonderful environment and life experience, having graduated from AUE’s College of Business Administration, where I learnt how to achieve success, based upon positive thinking, the establishment of a vision, remaining focused upon goals, developing great relationships, and being creative and passionate. This has been an invaluable experience. I truly appreciate having had the opportunity to be part of the American University in the Emirates, and look back on my years at AUE with great fondness. My advice for future students is to engage yourself fully with all the opportunities available at AUE. It really does pay to get involved with people. It was an honor to be a member of the AUE community, and to graduate from the College of Business Administration with an MBA degree. I learned a great deal, expanded my horizons, and established the foundations for success in my career. I have subsequently gained further valuable experience, having been elected as Secretary of the Alumni Council. In the course of fulfilling this role, I have become involved with the University’s management, and participated in many meetings intended to further enrich student life at AUE. I appreciate all of the faculty and staff members at AUE who have taken the time and made the effort to teach me, and to help me develop my professional career.

I am proud that AUE is preparing the next generation of UAE leaders, I loved the couple of years I spent as an AUE student, working with exceptional faculty members, and participating in unforgettable moments. I have ended up with an interesting career as the Sales and Marketing Manager for the largest Zoo in the Middle East under government supervision, while also occupying a number of memberships in Tourism sector boards. My AUE provided me with the educational foundation for professional success, on the basis of continuous support. I was able to succeed, and am proud of myself. Honestly I wouldn't be what I am today without my AUE experience and support, including my relationships established there, and the lessons I learned that have allowed me to be where I am now. AUE’s continuous effort to develop into a world class education institution shows us all what our community and country can achieve, and that we truly have the capacity to excel.
