Busy Bees Nursery

Welcome to Busy Bees where we believe in learning through play. At Busy Bees, learning is ‘hands on’ and very interactive. We like to keep our little bees buzzing with wonderful daily activities involving creative art, music & dance, interactive carpet time and lively story telling. We make learning come to life in our circle time activities where enjoyment is combined with mastery of the phonetic alphabet (letter sounds), number sense activities and learning all about the exciting world around us. The children discover literacy, numbers, investigation and discovery, art and craft and Arabic throughout the day. The days are filled with activities designed to enhance and promote learning within a controlled, but creative, atmosphere.

Our classrooms are equipped to stimulate each child and allow them to play, learn and explore. Our play areas include an outdoor play center with sand play, Busy Bees town, construction and mark making areas. Our toddler supermarket and role play areas are just a few of the many activities available at Busy Bees, which are incorporated into the daily timetable. Pretend play gives the children a sense of the world around them. We encourage this with wonderful costumes, hats, masks and face paint. Role play and puppet shows are an important way for children to learn about how they interact with the exciting world around them as well as how to express and work through emotional concerns.

Every month at Busy Bees we explore a new theme which focuses our students on a new area of discovery and lets them find out new and exciting information about the amazing world around them. themes include · All about me, Families & communities, International Studies & Global Studies, Community Helpers, Transportation, Animals, Plants and Habitats.

At Busy Bees, the learning day is filled with singing & dancing, arts & crafts, physical activities, water & sand play, mark-making, play dough, constructive playtime, freeplay, stories and so much more. Every day is a new learning experience filled with fun and laughter.

At Busy Bees we like to give our students the experience of outside educational trips, including the zoo and the park, and encourage parents to join us in this experience.

We teach our students to be kind, caring, loving and polite little people. Social, emotional and moral development are important aspects of learning for us and we encourage manners and polite behaviour at all times. We believe that a strong base will give your child a fantastic future.
