IT Instructor - Military Program

Job Description
To give a strong foundation to students on the relevant subject taught. Develop and deliver instructions to students as per the course guidelines and schedules, and ensure holistic development of the students. Actively participate in diverse areas of responsibility including undertaking research, administering of examinations, counseling students and directing student research. Enable development of student skill sets and guide them to succeed in a competitive environment.

All interactions in this category are daily and / or on need basis:
Instruction delivery to students
Promoting student self-learning
Performance feedback
Mentoring and counseling
Conduct one to one session with student as applicable
Other communication, as applicable
Initiating student disciplinary actions
Writing letters of recommendation
Placement activities
Student promotional activities
Exchange of course related information across Departments and Colleges: Adhoc
Assist in instruction for other colleges if required for common courses: As per schedule
Reporting any act of misconduct to Office of Academic Integrity for disciplinary actions: Adhoc

Qualifications and Requirements
An earned Masters Degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field from an accredited university. A Doctorate Degree is preferred.
Effective teaching, productive scholarship, and appropriate performance of service.
Experience in working with people from different ethnic background.
As the language of instruction and administration is English, the applicant must have excellent command of English.
Good record of teaching, scholarly activities, and community service at an accredited higher education institution is preferred.
Depending on qualifications, the position will be at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor.
