Thank you so much for your review it helped me a lot to know more about this college but i still have a few queries. 1st- It is a college which means after graduating from here one needs to attend a university right? 2nd- Can a student who has done O levels in Edexcel IGCSE do A levels over here? To be more clear, what i mean is right after O levels can a student do A levels in this college.

The most affordable college in the UAE, which is something I really appreciate. ACD is the equivalent of a community college in the US, with the added bonus of providing a regionally accredited BBA degree as well. It is the only college that offers a two-year transfer program, which is great for those who plan on transferring either abroad (most of their students go on to study in the US, UK and/or Canada, university list is provided on their website) or to other universities in the UAE. I joined ACD last year to pursue a Psychology degree abroad (currently in their Liberal Arts transfer program), and am glad I did so because it helped ease the financial burden my parents had to carry. The college as not as multicultural as it's made out to be, with the majority of the crowd being made up of Indians/Pakistanis sprinkled with a few Americans, Russians, Arabs and Filipinos for good measure. They host several events, some of which include yearly desert safari trips, inter-college competitions, dhow cruises and the annual 'Spring Fiesta' which is attended by students of all the other universities and in which a celebrity musician is invited. The campus isn't too shabby, a little small compared to other colleges in the Emirate, but could use some sprucing up. Most of the teachers are willing to help weaker students, which is great, and they've got a whole bunch of clubs students can choose from, including the Music club, Fashion club, IT club and so on. They also provide GED classes as well as English classes, of which Koreans/Chinese/Russian and Japanese students mostly attend. Their evening classes are a plus, and are cheaper and attended by a much older crowd, though you wouldn't feel out of place if you happen to be a teenager. In in all, I would strongly recommend ACD to those looking to further their education either abroad or to more expensive universities in the UAE with their transfer program because it saves a lot of money and most of their credits are generally accepted in other universities anyway. Currently in my second and final year here, and liking the experience so far.
