Brighton College Abu Dhabi delivers the Brighton College Curriculum, which is based on the National Curriculum of England and Wales, leading to the award of International GCSE and A-level. The school provides a deep, broad and balanced curriculum that consistently offers rich, varied and highly engaging lessons and extra-curricular opportunities to allow all children to develop their skills and abilities to their full potential.
The school’s leadership and governance ensures that the curriculum:
High quality curricular provision provides seamless continuity and progression throughout the Prep School. By 11 years of age, Year 7 pupils are well prepared for entry into the Senior School. The curriculum is creative and child-centred, with a focus on rigour and high levels of pupil achievement, in support of the College’s aims.
The Pre-Prep School curriculum adapts the UK’s Early Years Foundation Stage and then moves into the National Curriculum for England, taking the opportunity to make links with local Abu Dhabi culture. The curriculum for each year group follows UK age-specific curriculum descriptors, whilst lessons are differentiated, using learning objectives, where appropriate, from different year groups.
The curriculum from Years 3 to 6 in the Prep School builds upon the solid foundations established in Pre-Prep and develops each pupils so they are ready to embark on the specialist teaching of secondary subjects throughout Years 7 to 13 in the Senior School. In Year 10, pupils commence their GCSE courses in a broad range of subjects leading onto A-levels in Year 12. The curriculum within all year groups in the Prep and Senior Schools is enhanced by a comprehensive co-curricular activities programme to enable boys and girls to pursue their interests and explore new ones.

Best school in the UAE.They are really supportive specially if the kid has some difficulties in English and they are focusing on pupils whose English is not their first language. I’m happy that all my kids are in BCAD and I highly appreciate all their efforts.

My Son have been at Brighton for 5 years now, the building is amazing. Every teacher puts a special touch when teaching their students. I have had my expectations exceeded every year. I cannot wait for my other two daughters to start attending.

Brighton College Abu Dhabi is an amazing school. The teachers and staff are excellent and well educated. The test scores are high due to the fact that there is so much care from the teachers and has a well balanced curriculum. We are very fortunate to have our child attending Brighton as being new expats in the capital, we had a bit of difficulty finding the right place initially. Shout out to all the teachers in Grade 5 that make our daughter’s experience so enjoyable and fun.

Extremely high standards school in Abu Dhabi, which follows the British syllabus and education curriculum. As I heard, after Sixth Form at A-levels pupils have been known in the past to get places at OxBridge.
