Job Summary
Currently recruiting for a Finance/Accounting Manager role within an international education company who own and operate schools located in Abu Dhabi. The Finance Manager is required to take charge of the finance function. The role reports to the Bursar but is also dotted lined to the finance department.
The role will involve:
- Preparation of monthly profit & loss reports within two weeks of month end.
- Preparation of monthly and yearly forecasts.
- Cash flow management day to day banking.
- Preparation and presentation financial performance reports and KPIs.
- Supervision of invoicing and cash collection.
- Analysis of results, forecasts and budgets.
- Management of financial systems.
- Supervision of payroll.
- Supporting the senior management team in all aspects of the organisation.
- Managing a finance team, currently of two people.
- Introduce and run proper financial and cash controls in the organisation.
Required Skills
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) qualified with more than 3 years post qualification experience.
- Will possess strong technical financial and management accounting skills, be a self starter and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Candidates with experience in the education sector as well as candidates with experience gained in an SME to large commercial business.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Experience of implementing financial systems would be an advantage.
