Tennis Coach

Job Summary
All Head Coach positions report to the Athletic Director. Under direction from the Athletic Director, the Head Coach will provide overall organization and management of the specified team. The position will direct and be responsible for all areas of the specified program including coaching, practices & workouts, recruiting, scouting, scheduling, coordinating travel, planning and monitoring the program budget, monitoring athlete academics, organizing and managing camps and clinics, organizing and managing home competitions, monitoring, promoting the team and the athletic department, and assisting University Relations. The Head Coach is responsible to recruit, hire, and supervise Assistant Coaches.

Required skills

• At least 4 years as a competitive player in specified sport
• At least 1 year experience coaching in a competitive program
• Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work within a diverse environment and with people with disabilities
