Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of the Centre for Collaborative Health Professional Education and in collaboration with the Centre’s Coordinator and Research Staff the successful applicant will develop a curriculum and create an evaluation framework to support a sustainable system of province-wide partnerships for inter-professional education (IPE) and practice across the continuum of professional development. Partners include leadership in Health/Social professional training programs within Memorial, College of the North Atlantic health professional training programs, Regional Health Authorities; Provincial Departments of Education and Health and Community Services and Community Agencies.

Duties include creating and chairing a stakeholder advisory committee with representation from partner groups; developing and implementing an inter-professional education (IPE) needs/capacity assessment for all potential partners; conducting literature reviews and environmental scans; developing a blueprint for a provincial, patient-centered, comprehensive, evidence-based IPE curriculum across the continuum of health/social care professional education; creating a framework to meaningfully evaluate its impact; preparing a report outlining the revised IPE curriculum for partner group discussion and revising as necessary.

Required Skills
Experience (3-5) in program evaluation, including the evaluation of educational innovations and completion of a PhD in Education or related degree; OR thorough experience (5-10 years) in program evaluation, including the evaluation of educational innovations and completion of a Master’s degree in Education; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. A foundation in pedagogy, superior interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills are required.
