Job Summary
As a Senior Lecturer within the School of Education, your responsibilities will include teaching literacy based units in the Bachelor of Education and Graduate Diploma of Teaching courses, and maintaining and developing scholarly activities relevant to the profession.
You will deliver high quality teaching, contribute to curriculum innovation and content design and undertake nationally competitive and high quality research.
To be successful, you require a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline with a focus on literacy and a strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary education practice. An established record of research outputs in high quality journals consistent with the discipline is essential.
