Job Summary

• The VAT Manager will report to the Head of Tax/Tax Director.
• As the sole VAT person at Emaar, the VAT Manager will be responsible for covering a number of sectors such as real estate, hospitality , entertainment, leisure.
• The VAT Manager will assist with the forthcoming VAT implementation from both a project management perspective and a VAT technical perspective.
• They will coordinate with all of the relevant Emaar entities to ensure that the necessary actions are being undertaken to become VAT ready.
• They will be the main point of contact with our External Advisors in relation to VAT.
• Provide any other necessary assistance that may be required throughout the VAT implementation (e.g. reviewing of contracts, liaising with customers and suppliers, etc.).
• Assume responsibility for the VAT reporting and compliance.
• Assume responsibility for the day to day VAT affairs.
• Be the main point of contact for any internal VAT queries.
