Job Summary

Reporting to the RGM, you will be responsible for the assigned markets and will proactively engage with business leaders to help maximize communications internally and externally.

You will act as the local contact for all communication queries in the region working closely with various departments within the company.

You need to proactively develop regional communication strategies and engage with local content creation agencies. You will also plan and implement sustainability projects and will be instrumental in building the brand image of the company in the region.

Create and update local-first strategy of Integrated Marketing Communications and communication programmers for the MENA region;

Ensure regional and market segment branding strategy is steady with company’s global branding strategy;

Prepare, edit and proofread creative, sales-oriented corporate, promotional, product-oriented and marketing content for online channels and print;

Coordinate within the communications and marketing functions to ensure effective region specific communication tools to promote company products, services and corporate branding;

Distributing promotional material, engaging with customers on social media and networking during marketing events;

Ensure that regional digital/social content meets the needs and interests of local audiences;

Liaise with various parties to ensure regular updates are applied across all regional mediums and channels;

Study and research various products, services, the company, and related industries within the region to enhance quality and relevance of projects;

Contribute to general creative problem-solving or project-enhancing ideas.

Qualifications

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree holder from the Faculty of Arts, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or any related field
  • Hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics
  • Experience with marketing campaigns on social media
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • MS Office literate

Requirements

A strong background in copywriting or writing position/s (marketing knowledge is an advantage)
At least five years’ experience in communications position/s
Exceptional fluency in spoken and written (local language) (to the same standard of a native speaker)
