International School of Oman

International School of Oman was established to serve the interests of the local population of Muscat, and aims to provide it with excellent education. ISO adopts the mission of “Graduating moral, cultured world citizens, who possess the zeal and skills for lifelong learning and who are eager and capable of contributing positively to their societies”.

The International School of Oman was established in September 2008 on a temporary, spacious campus in Madinat Al I’lam which is fenced and has a security guard room at the only gate that leads into the school. All classrooms are light and spacious with good ventilation. The school has good quality furniture and all essential equipment for the range of curriculum areas and levels offered. There is a cafeteria, a gym and ample outdoor play areas, which include a separate well -equipped shaded KG garden. The campus has a well-equipped health clinic and a number of offices, halls and stores.

The Primary and Senior Schools will also enjoy a range of excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. The school laboratories for general science, physics, chemistry and information technology will be equipped with modern equipment that facilitates and enhances student learning. There will also be an indoor swimming pool, a modern gymnasium, an auditorium for performances, a cafeteria where healthy snacks and meals can be purchased, a bookshop from which all schoolbooks and stationery will be purchased, a uniform shop, an artificial grass football field with synthetic running track around its exterior and a multi-purpose outdoor court.
