Job Summary
The F&B Senior Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for controlling inventory transactions while validating data and generating the related reports on a daily basis.
Key Accountabilities
- Specific for the Local Team: Generate weekly/monthly, and upon requested of the Inventory Control Manager, analytical reports related to inventory
- Specific for the Local Team: Review existing procedures related to processing transactions/generating
- reports and recommend needed adjustments/enhancements to improve processes’ timeline and reporting efficiency
- Specific for the Local Team: Review and validate group data COGS and consumption as well as provide the upper management with required reports
- Specific for the Local Team: Supervise all the tasks handled by F&B team members including day-to-day transactions and train restaurant and warehouse team members on all inventory related processes
- Specific for the Regional Team: Provide technical support to local peers and communicate with the regional IT department to resolve/limit the technical challenges
- Specific for the Regional Team: Follow up closely with local Inventory Managers for ensuring the proper implementation of policies/ procedures aimed to control losses/ decrease the shrinkage percentage
- Specific for the Regional Team: Review and validate group data COGS and consumption as well as provide the upper management with required reports
- Specific for the Regional Team:Conduct quality control on the Group’s data, generate monthly analytical Inventory reports and supply the Management and Commercial teams with accurate reports accordingly
- Specific for the Regional Team: Review all the processes related to Inventory transactions and ensure alignment within local Inventory Control departments
- Specific for the Regional Team:Develop and conduct training programs of new systems/ applications related to the Inventory Control department
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent; MBA is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in F&B operations in a similar role
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS office and in a stock accounting software
