Job Summary
The role holder shall be responsible Managing all activities related to Cyber Security Performance, and development of periodic reports and dashboards on systems security issues resolution performance. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Participates in the development and implementation of the Cyber Security Strategy & Programs Department plans, in line with the corporate objectives.
- Directs and manages the Performance Control Section mandates, providing leadership and facilitating work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
- Interprets and implements change in Performance Control Section providing guidance and support, necessary for continuous improvement.
- Ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards in the Performance Control Section.
- Core Responsibilities
- Performance Control
- Set up / define performance indicators for different cybersecurity controls to comprehensively drive cybersecurity
- Define, coordinate and monitor performance indicators for cybersecurity controls
- Escalate negative deviation, major issues and gaps in performance indicators to relevant stakeholders
- Support reporting function with performance metric reports
- Lead development and continuous improvement of Cybersecurity controls
- Track and analyze effectiveness of embedded quality control measures
- People Management Responsibilities
- Defines goals and key performance indicators for each member of the team and ensures effective application of the STC performance management process.
- Directs planning and selection of manpower in the Performance Control Section, in line with the business and operational plans.
- Ensures high level of employee engagement and capability development by providing on-going feedback and coaching team members within the Performance Control Section.
- Performs other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Cyber Security Strategy & Programs Director in order to meet objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
- Relevant certification in Cyber Security (CISSP, CAP, SSCP, (ISC)2 , CCFP, CISM etc)
- Relevant certification in Cyber Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity (BCM,CBCP,DRCS, DRii etc) and Risk Management
Required Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in leading the Cyber Security function for a large organization preferably within the telecom industry.
