Stone Ridge is a Catholic, independent, college preparatory school in Bethesda, Maryland for girls, Grades 1-12, with a co-educational early childhood program, Little Hearts, which serves children three-month old through Kindergarten age. Currently, we have 700 students.
We are guided by the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education. With these Goals we commit to educate to a personal and active faith in God, a deep respect for intellectual values, a social awareness which impels to action, a building of community as a Christian value, and personal growth in an atmosphere of wise freedom.

Stone Ridge is one of 24 North American schools in the Network of Sacred Heart Schools, an association of Catholic independent schools in the United States-Canada Province of the Society of the Sacred Heart. There are over 150 Schools of the Sacred Heart in 41 countries. Guided and united by the Goals and Criteria, the Network of Sacred Heart Schools provides a means for mutual support and development among schools through the sharing of intellectual and spiritual resources.

My daughter has thrived at Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Washington. The staff is incredibly supportive and the quality of education is top-notch. She has made significant progress in her studies and I couldn't be happier.
