Job Summary
- Lead and manage the planning, design and delivery for Mobily’s internal infrastructure needs (IT systems and other departmental requirements) guided by the objective of operational efficiency
- Lead and manage the development of high- and low-level design, testing and implementation of new infrastructure services so as to derive the hardware implications (also for upgrades) and to ultimately provide competitive services to internal customers
- Manage the development of the infrastructure architecture vision and roadmap and review the Architecture and Design-related scope for IT projects in a way that ensures optimal capacity, growth and baseline management.
- Manage the service delivery in a way that Service Level agreement (SLAs)/ Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) are met and resources, capabilities and capacities to meet (internal) customer demand are in place.
- Oversee collaboration with the technical teams to launch developed products – incorporating alteration requirements for segmented solutions – so as to ensure a quick adoption of the infrastructure products portfolio, working techniques and technological trends.
- Manage the monitoring of infrastructure performance to ensure said performance confirms to the planned specifications and corrective action is implemented in case of any deviation.
- Oversee vendor management (including support, enterprise and frame agreement management).
- Ensure that individual objectives, training and development plans are in place for all direct reports and hold feedback and appraisal meetings as per the agreed frequency to achieve high performance standards.
- Plan the budget with the respective teams from the Operations and Business departments.
- Ensure the communication with different departments to resolve conflicts and to keep work flows operating smoothly.
- Act as a focal point for the security and network requirements with the respective teams related to the deployment of new systems.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to Mobily Technology Infrastructure Planning and Delivery as designated by the line manager.

- Excellent commercial, technical and marketing knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of working in various Technologies and Business roles
- Extensive knowledge in cloud and managed services technologies and methodologies
- Excellent operation background to support the full product life cycle of Planning, Implementation, Delivery and Operations
- Excellent understanding of Advanced Services, Professional Services and ICT industry
- Strong management and communication skills, Leadership Skills, team-oriented and people skills
Education
Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering or a similar discipline.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and managing direct reports performance.
- Set the department’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to reporting sections, and guide their achievement.
- Contribute to the development of the sector’s policies, procedures and processes through providing input as advised by the direct supervisor.
- Provide direction and advice to the direct reports in performing their delegated responsibilities.
- Ensure the ongoing development of the department’s employees, and assure the developmental activities of direct reports.
- Oversee the overall performance of direct reports and ensure KPI’s are well communicated and monitored.
- Ensure effective identification, allocation and utilization of the division’s resources.
