Job Summary
- Manage 2G,3G 4G & Access O&M guided by the objectives of maintaining constant availability, optimal functionality and performance.
- Manage controlling the scope of outsourcing contracts within remit of supervision to ensure that MNS vendors deliver a quality service as per the stipulated SLAs/KPIs.
- Guide fault management activities (incl. testing, diagnosing and repairing the network in case of faults) in order to ensure short response times as per the agreed targets and customer satisfaction and centricity.
- Plan and implement routine maintenance of the 2G,3G 4G & Access O&M as directed to ensure availability targets are achieved.
- Participate in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling works of the outsourced vendors, Offer recommendations in selecting best practice engineering techniques for all nodes in the respective network elements.
- Study the 2G,3G 4G & Access component capacity and provide recommendation with report, Manage and guide the respective MSN operations teams – in particular during high seasons and promotions to ensure readiness to absorb extra traffic and avoid disruptions.
- Ensures conformance to quality standards for all 2G,3G 4G & Access O&M related projects.
- Lead the testing of new features along with MNS and generate the required evaluation and recommendation reports
- Lead the acceptance of new network elements offered by implementation by assessing the operational criteria along with MNS for optimal network performance.
- Inspect each parameter change requests with the support of MNS to ensure a non-negative impact on the network performance
- Maintain relationships with MNS for operational and maintenance personnel/services so that the company is able to meet its operational service and cost targets without unnecessary addition to its fixed overhead.
- Perform other duties as directed by the higher levels of supervision
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent from an accredited university.
