The United Arab Emirates University is seeking a full-time Instructor rank in the department of Psychology & Counseling. The primary roles of the field instructor are teaching the skills, knowledge, and values of the profession as they are applied in the practice setting, providing supervision to students in the field placement, challenging students to integrate the theory they learn in their academic work with the tasks they will complete as requirements. Teaching courses and supervising clinical practice and measurements treatments
Minimum Qualification
Master + Clinical practice certificate
Preferred Qualification
Eligibility for this position is a MSW; be fluent in Arabic and English; five years in managing the field practicum; expertise in multicultural social work practice and field instructor experience Arab populations is preferred.
Language of instruction at UAEU is English and Bilingual English/Arabic within the Psychology & Counseling program. Candidates should be dedicated to excellence in field education, with a strong commitment to high professional standards, strong communication and organizational skills. The candidate supposes to be HAAD certificated with one year time of work.
