Logistics and Store Incharge

Job Summary

• Maintain all the machineries and other assets in store in good condition to ensure their proper functioning and durability & life span.
• Acquire a good knowledge of the projects handled by the Company and liaise with the concerned project team to understand the site requirements.
• Prepare a schedule accordingly time to time in coordination with them so as to maintain stocks of all the required items and ensure no delay /obstruction in the work flow process happens.
• Ensure proper accounting of all the items in the store and ensure no loss, damage or improper utilization.
• The stocks and machineries need to be properly managed and organized between the sites so as to avoid duplication of purchases unnecessarily.
• Inventory, Asset valuation and stock requirements Reports must be provided to the management immediately as and when requested.
• Organise and arrange the items in the store category / site wise .
• Label each item with item code and enter them in system.
• Properly co-ordinate with the site engineers to know the requirement for the week and next in advance and organize the stocks accordingly (if not available in store raise requirements ).
• Prepare a clear chart of the site requirements —- in line to the above job
• Submit the requirements of the store well in advance to purchase department —-in line to point 3.
• All inventories should be properly updated in system to enable transparency of the store position any time.
• Receive materials on delivery (GRN) ,prepare transfer notes if any.
• Organise and Arrange for transporting materials to site neatly to avoid unnecessary time and wastage of transportation cost.
